After reading GTG Book 1 The Seeker, I was hooked into this brilliantly conceived world that, sadly, is not so different from our own, a world where homophobia is rampant and being gay actually makes you immune to the machinations of The Siren, a mysterious being that seems intent on sending sexual tolerancy back to the Stone Age.Blaize, our intrepid hero, has embraced the role of Seeker though he chose not to disclose it to anyone after that tragedy at the end of Book One With his best friends Cassie and Roze, they continue their surreptitious investigations into the identity of the Siren for only then can they stop her once and for all This, of course, is intermixed with tons of teenage angst, awkwardness, and wonderful humor, of which Mr Wagner is a master. The wait for this book was worth it The ending so completely caught me by surprise that my jaw, literally, hit the floor I, for one, cannot wait to see how this series ends Whether you re gay or not, whether you re a teen or not, this is a series that deserves to be read by everyone.

Loved the first book, was really looking forward to reading this second installment of the trilogy and I was not disappointed Cody Wagner stayed true to his characters and threw in some great plot twists that were most unexpected Looking forward to number three

An excellent read It takes up naturally where the first book left off, and adds so much dimension to the story as a whole I can t wait to see where Mr Wagner takes us in his third novel.
